Cork On Ice

Get Your Skates On at Cork on Ice!

The Festive Favourite Returns November 3rd

There really is nothing more festive than whizzing around, or trying not to fall over, on an ice rink, so get ready to put on your bobble hat, wrap up warm and get your skates on, as Cork On Ice is back on Friday November 3!

One of Ireland’s longest-running winter events, Cork On Ice has become a tradition for many in the Cork and the greater Munster area since opening in 2007.  Their stunning 800sqm ice rink is located under the impressive roof of a 2425sqm marquee on the grounds of Mahon Point Shopping Centre from November to January each season, with free onsite parking and a frequent bus service.

The ice rink venue has provided fun and laughter to over 500,000 skaters of all levels of skating ability for more than 10 years.  All levels of experience are catered for, from beginners to advanced skaters. There is a large main rink and a separate rink for kids aged 3-10 years, which is always supervised, and the children’s penguin club will help your little ones find their ice legs.

With a variety of events throughout the season, there really is something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a family day out, a festive skate-date-night, want to master the art of figure skating, or fancy introducing your kids to new sports like Ice Hockey.  The famous white marquee is the place to kick off your Christmas in the best way possible. There’s also schools skate, student skate deals, group and midweek offers, and tasty festive food!
